Inclement weather policy for tours and information sessions

In the case of severe weather, including snow, heavy rain and wind, lightning, hail or ice, the campus tour may be replaced with another form of programming. Tour guides will remain in one indoor location while sharing information about a variety of buildings and topics on campus, which can be supplemented with our online virtual tour at your convenience. In the case of light rain or snow, tours will be held as scheduled and tour guides will make every effort to spend as much time indoors as possible. Both information sessions and tours will be cancelled if the University is closed (see UMass Amherst Emergency Closing Status).
