Living on Campus

Why I've Lived in Central for Two Years

Near the center of campus, the Central Residential Area offers proximity to classes and on-campus dining. In the traditionally-styled nine halls here you can find female- or male-only floors, gender-inclusive floors, and barrier-free, fully accessible floors for students with disabilities.

The six halls that make up this residential community are great for first year students and beyond. Also home to cultural centers and close to the campus center and athletics complex, the Commonwealth Honors College residential area is a supportive place for driven students to thrive.

Northeast Residential Area

The volleyball court on the quad is not the only great feature about the Northeast Residential Area. Within the nine halls you’ll find Residential Academic Programs and a Defined Residential Community for Asian and Asian American students.
