Tours and info sessions are offered throughout the academic year as well as during the summer.
Information sessions are geared toward prospective first-year students and give an introduction into UMass Amherst as well as a review of our admissions process.
Campus tours are geared toward prospective or admitted first-year or transfer students — you’ll hear from current students and see where students live, learn, eat, and socialize

Want to learn more about life at UMass Amherst? During a Virtual Visit, you’ll spend an hour with current students, hear about their experiences at UMass Amherst, and learn more about all that the university has to offer.
Online Info Session (First-Year)
Interested in applying as a first-year student? Join one of our online information sessions to learn all about our first-year admissions process — including important dates and deadlines, required materials, how we make admissions decisions, and more.
Online Info Session (International)
Join an Online Information Session to learn all about the admission process and application details for first-year international applicants. Our online presentation will last about 60 minutes and will include time for questions.

Visit directly with schools and colleges to learn more about the academic experience at UMass.
Honors College Info Sessions

Through virtual information sessions, students and families who would like to make Commonwealth Honors College their destination of choice have a chance to speak with members of the Honors College, who can share first-hand experiences and knowledge about resources available.
URep UMass: Real Talks

A student-only space for all prospective students, though especially insightful for students from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including first generation and LGBTQ+ students. Current, diverse students will introduce you to UMass Amherst, share their stories and experiences, and answer your questions.
Navigating Together: A Guide to Understanding the College Application Process

Join our UMass Amherst admissions staff for a virtual session designed to help families, supporters and students better understand the college application process. Learn about how to assist with the college search, application requirements and timelines, financial aid, and ways to support your student throughout their process. This event welcomes all high school grades families and supporters.
Get a Head Start With Career Launch (First-Year)

What does a semester in Career Launch actually look like? Join us for a closer look at how students learn, live, and build connections at the Charles River Campus. We will highlight the academic experience, the Learning Through Career Exploration course, employer and alumni engagement, Greater Boston field experiences, student life, and the support available throughout the semester. Students and families will also have an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the next steps for joining Career Launch.
Building Your Future in STEM at UMass Amherst

Group Tours
UMass Amherst Undergraduate Admissions offers group tours to high schools, community-based organizations, and community colleges that work with students at the 9th-grade level and above.
To request a group tour (10-60 students) for your high school group, community-based organization or community college, please see the schedule linked below. Space is extremely limited, so it is recommended to schedule a group tour well in advance. Groups are also welcome to visit UMass at any time and tour campus on their own.
