You'll join a community of more than 1,500 transfer students who choose UMass Amherst each year. We understand the process of transferring may seem like a mountainous task, and we are here to make it as easy as possible—from understanding how your credits transfer to finding your place on campus.

Students who are completing an approved associate degree at a Massachusetts community college may be eligible for the MassTransfer program, which has a separate application process.
