Taking Initiative

  • Can you describe a time where your team as a whole were faced with a problem, and you were able to take initiative in finding a resolution?
  • Can you tell me about a time where you were ahead of schedule with your current tasks, and decided to seek additional training/projects to help your team?
  • Describe a time when you saw some problem and took the initiative to correct it rather than waiting for someone else to do it.
  • Give me an example of a time you were given free reign to use your own creativity on a project. Was it difficult or did you enjoy the creative freedom?
  • Tell me about a time you saw a problem as an opportunity, and used it to make processes at work more efficient.
