Assistant Vice Chancellor for Facilities Strategic Initiatives
Reporting to Shane Conklin, the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities & Campus Services, the incoming Assistant Vice Chancellor will lead strategic planning and crafting of strategic initiatives for F&CS. The position provides direct management of the business services, communications, and transportation services departments of the F&CS operations. The position will play a key leadership role in budget planning and development for all of F&CS. The person in this role will support the Associate Vice Chancellor in the overall leadership of the F&CS portfolio and will exercise decision-making responsibility in their absence.

Chief Marketing Officer
Reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor for University Relations, the Chief Marketing Officer will provide strategic vision regarding the University's key marketing and branding initiatives. This leader will be tasked with evolving the processes and approach of marketing and how the teams integrate across University Relations and the University at large. They will serve as a kay partner across multiple departments and with stakeholders within the institution to align strategies and drive key initiatives forward. The CMO will provide leadership and strategic guidance to the MarCom integrated teams, which include creative, marketing, web, CRM, and UMass Magazine, setting comprehensive objectives and establishing key priorities for the department's direction. The CMO will forge ahead with pace and purpose to further distinguish UMass Amherst as a nationally prominent university that attracts, enrolls, and supports a vibrant community of lifelong learners across multiple educational venues.
