Since 2002, The Residents Assistance/Peer Mentors Unit (RAPMU), has represented the interests of Resident Assistants and Peer Mentors at UMass Amherst. RA’s duties include crisis intervention, peer counseling, community building, and act as a resource and referral agents for the university community.
