Our Talent Acquisition team manages and oversees the recruitment and hiring processes for faculty, staff, and temporary employees at UMass Amherst. While recruitments are conducted at the department level, Talent Acquisition provides guidance for navigating the systems and finding qualified candidates. This includes submitting positions for grading and posting, screening applicants, performing reference checks, and extending job offers.
Classification and Compensation Services supports the University's commitment to fairness through our classification systems. Our Classification and Compensation team evaluates all positions on campus to ensure that our pay processes are competitive and equitable.
