Ben Weil presented lessons learned in consulting with building owners, operators, constructors, and renovators working to operate safely and profitably in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Guidance from government and international health agencies as well as professional societies can be helpful but can also be confusing. This presentation provided some interpretation of the standards in light of recent evidence and provide some guidance in thinking through the best practices to minimize risks. Upcoming Talk: Building Operations during COVID (Wednesday Oct. 14th)

BCT faculty member Ben Weil will present on the topic of ensuring the safety and efficiency of indoor spaces during COVID 19 to the Western Mass Green Building Consortium. For those who may need to open buildings to customers, open schools to students, or run an indoor job site, there are more questions than answers as to how to do it safely and prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. Guidance from government and international health agencies as well as professional societies can be helpful but can also be confusing.
