UMass HR Team Volunteers at Amherst Survival Center

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, members of the UMass Human Resources team dedicated their afternoon to community service at the Amherst Survival Center. From 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., the group helped organize and restock the Center’s pantry, supporting efforts to provide food and essential items to individuals and families in need.

The day began with a warm welcome and tour of the facility, then volunteers rolled up their sleeves to sort, arrange, and prepare food items for distribution.

This hands-on effort reflects HR’s ongoing commitment to service and community engagement.
