General Information and Expectations

• Workshops listed in the catalog are free for all UMass Amherst employees.
• Workshop descriptions will state whether the workshop will be held on-site or virtually.
• Talk to your supervisor about release-time.
• For virtual workshops, you will be emailed the meeting link the day before the workshop.
• To maximize the benefits of a virtual session, we strongly encourage learners to keep their cameras on and choose a
  participation environment where they feel comfortable sharing their thoughts openly and can minimize distractions.
• Full attendance of a workshop will be recorded in your Internal Training Summary in HR Direct.
• If you must cancel your registration, notify our office at least 3 business days in advance: hrengagement [at] umass [dot] edu
