UMass Amherst and the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce will co-host the 59^th Annual Community Breakfast Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 7:30-9 a.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. 

Each year, the Community Breakfast marks the beginning of the academic year by bringing together the local academic, civic, and business communities to connect with one another, share common goals and learn about upcoming programs and events open to both on and off-campus community members. 

The Community Breakfast provides an opportunity to engage with community and campus leaders, welcome newcomers, reconnect with colleagues and friends and celebrate the start of the fall semester while enjoying a breakfast prepared by award-winning UMass Dining.

Tickets for the event, which has sold out in recent years, are available in advance for $25 per person through UMass Hospitality until noon on Monday, August 31. Free parking will be available at the Campus Center Garage.
