I am truly excited to join the vibrant community at UMass Amherst as your new Vice Chancellor & Chief Human Resources Officer! With over 25 years in HR leadership within higher education, I'm driven by a strong passion for cultivating a positive work environment that supports a culture of inclusion and belonging.
My vision for our workplace is one where every voice is not only heard but also valued, where collaboration thrives, and where employees feel empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. UMass Amherst offers a variety of resources, programs, and tools to support and improve many aspects of your well-being.
Campus Recreation and Wellbeing offers a variety of fitness programs, personal and group fitness classes, and well-being resources that are open to staff and faculty.
The Body Shop Fitness Center offers a smaller workout space and access to personal trainers during the academic year.
University Health Services provides comprehensive health and wellness services for the UMass Amherst campus community.
The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life offers a range of educational programs, individual and institutional advocacy, interfaith dialogue, and other bridge-building activities.
Health Tips!
Consider scheduling a walking meeting. Need motivation to take a walk at lunch? Visit one of the art galleries on campus, tour the trees on campus with this map, or visit the Durfee Conservatory, a lovely local greenhouse complex near UHS.

Inspired by the Worker Artists Group's discussions on sustainability, creativity, and the community, The Partnership for Worker Education's Building Bridges Public Art and Engagement Initiative seeks artwork that reflects workers' expression of their connection to our planet through the theme of "Our Common Ground."
Open to all UMass staff, all media types are welcome, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, and installation.
