ECCO (Employee Counseling and Consultation Office):
ECCO is a confidential and free service designed for UMass Amherst faculty and staff. ECCO offers a safe space for employees to address work-related and personal concerns on-campus and over Zoom. The ECCO team provides counseling, information, consultation, and referrals to help employees navigate these challenges. You can learn more about ECCO and access their services here.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Optum:
The university also offers a state-sponsored Employee Assistance Program, Mass4You, which includes virtual counseling services, guidance from financial advisors, referral for a variety of work-life convenience services and access to a substance abuse hotline.
