Monte’s March Raises Funds for Food Bank of Western Massachusetts

For the second year in a row, the School of Public Policy (SPP) fielded a team for Monte’s March for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, an annual fundraiser led by WRSI radio and U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern. This year, SPP’s team of students, alumni, staff, faculty, and friends raised $1,695 for the cause. “Many thanks to the team at SPP for marching this year," said Laura Sylvester, public policy manager at the food bank, who received a dual MPPA/MPH from SPP in 2016.
