The conference featured a series of educational workshops, talks, panels and networking events dedicated to Belonging@UMass, and Chancellor Javier Reyes joined Vice Chancellor for Equity and Inclusion Nefertiti Walker in a lunchtime conversation, which can be found below.
In addition to the JEDI Conference, programs centering the theme of Belonging@UMass will take place throughout the semester, in collaboration with campus-wide partners. Through these events, the university aspires for campus community members to create connections between new friends and colleagues, engage with a wide variety of campus resources, and teach and learn about UMass Amherst’s commitment to equity, inclusion and belonging.
