U.S. News & World Report Ranks Online Programs at UMass Amherst
AMHERST, Mass. – Online bachelor’s degree programs at the University of Massachusetts Amherst rank 20th nationally, according to a survey released by U.S. News & World Report, which also listed the university 17th for online MBA programs.
The list of the 357 schools with the best online bachelor’s programs for 2018 is based on weighted factors in student engagement, faculty credentials and training, student services and technology, and peer reputation.
UMass Amherst’s online graduate nursing program rose four spots over last year’s ranking from 39th to 35th in the rankings.
Weighted factors used in the graduate program ranking process were student engagement, faculty credentials and training, peer reputation, student services and technology, and admissions selectivity. The weighting varied among programs.
