UHS’ Sara Riddington Earns First Place Poster Honor at APNA New England Chapter Conference
Sara Riddington, informatics manager at University Health Services and a doctoral candidate in the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing, recently earned first place for her poster presentation at the 2026 American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) New England Chapter Conference.
Riddington’s poster shared findings from her dissertation, “Client Use & Experience of Telemental Healthcare Among University Students,” a sequential cohort mixed-methods study examining college students’ use of and preferences for telemental versus in-person care, as well as their mental healthcare utilization before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Founded in 1993, the APNA New England Chapter consists of Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island, with the largest group of members based in Massachusetts. The conference was held Friday, May 1, in Mystic, Connecticut.
