Panel on Women in Construction to be Held Dec. 2

The building and construction program is hosting a panel discussion, “The Continuing Rise of Women in Construction,” on Monday, Dec. 2 at 4 p.m. in the J.W. Olver Design Building, room 170.

The panel will feature three speakers, including UMass’s own Carolina Cudemus-Jones, director of design and construction management. Denise Berger, chief of operations in the engineering department of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and Joanna Kripp, senior project executive at Gilbane Building Company will also be the additional panelists.

The panel will emphasize and illustrate the opportunities that exist and are becoming more and more available to women in construction.

The event is free and open to the public.
