The Okanagan Wellbeing Collective held its second annual retreat on Jan. 28 at Smith College, bringing together campus leaders to reflect, strategize and deepen their commitment to fostering a culture of wellbeing at UMass Amherst.

The retreat, facilitated by visiting scholar and applied psychologist Karen Craddock, provided a dedicated space to acknowledge past accomplishments, set priorities for the future and explore innovative ways to embed wellbeing into campus life.

This gathering is a key part of UMass Amherst’s ongoing work as a designated Health Promoting University, aligning with the Okanagan Charter’s principles to integrate health and wellbeing into policies, practices and campus culture. By convening stakeholders for intentional reflection and planning, the retreat helps drive meaningful progress toward a healthier, more supportive university environment.
