Kalpen Trivedi Named a Top 50 Professional in International Education in North America

Kalpen Trivedi, UMass Amherst vice provost of global affairs and director of the International Programs Office, has been named one of the top 50 international education professionals in North America by Professionals in International Education (PIE) Leadership Digest.

Trivedi was included in the new list as published in the PIE Leadership Digest 50 Voices of 2023 North America edition, a global publication highlighting experienced leaders, rising stars, change agents and policy makers from the U.S., Canada and Mexico that offer a valuable commentary on the international education sector and its ecosystem.

In this special edition, Trivedi was recognized as an Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) Presidential Fellow and a member of the AIEA Professional Development and Engagement Committee. He is also chair-elect for the National Association of Foreign Student Advisers (NAFSA) International Education Leadership Knowledge Community and a member of the Standards and Governance Subcommittee of the U.S. Department of State’s Overseas Security Advisory Council.
