Flags Lowered to Honor Marine

Gov. Charlie Baker has ordered that the U.S. and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts flags be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings beginning at sunrise on Saturday, April 2 through sunset on Tuesday, April 5, the day of interment, in honor of Captain Ross A. Reynolds, USMC, formerly of Leominster, who died north of Bodo, Norway during a NATO training exercise on Friday, March 18.

Captain Reynolds, Marine Tiltrotor Squadron, 261, Marine Aircraft Group 26, 2d Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Air Corps Station New River, North Carolina, will be laid to rest at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon.
