Five College Native American and Indigenous Studies Symposium/NAISA Regional Gathering to be Held Sept. 22
The 2022 Five College NAIS Symposium/last NAISA Regional Gathering for 2022 will take place at UMass Amherst Campus Center on Sept. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with an overarching theme, “Museums, Archives, Preservation, and Representation in the Northeast.”

All-day programming includes a keynote by Taino Chief Jorge Estevez and roundtables. A closing concert will be held at Smith College with Indigenous performer Jennifer Kreisberg, Tuscarora (North Carolina).
On Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., there will be an opening reception, at Mount Holyoke Art Museum where guests can view the "Considering Indigeneity" exhibit.
