The event is free and has been organized by the Center for Health Promotion with collaborating campus departments at UMass Amherst, student volunteers and representatives of The Jordan Porco Foundation.

UMass Amherst's Fresh Check Day will take place Wednesday, April 12 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Campus Center Auditorium will be transformed into an expo-like atmosphere to bring together interactive exhibits combined with food, prizes and giveaways.

The booths feature peer-to-peer messaging in a positive, community-focused setting. This year's event will include live music and fun activities for all.
