Environmental Health and Safety Announces New Leadership Promotions

Jeffrey Hescock, assistant vice chancellor of environmental health and safety and emergency management, has announced key leadership changes within the Department of Environmental Health and Safety

  • Kate Dorrity has been promoted to director of emergency management and will continue to lead and oversee the university’s Emergency Management Program.
     
  • Mike Grover has been promoted to director of environmental programs, overseeing the university’s environmental compliance related programs. Grover’s appointment follows the retirement of Terri Wolejko, assistant director of environmental and hazardous materials management services.
     
  • Kristi Ohr has been promoted to director of academic safety and will continue her leadership in supporting research and academic safety across campus.
     
  • Rob Wallace has been promoted to director of campus safety and fire prevention, leading efforts in fire safety, inspections and campus safety initiatives. Wallace’s appointment follows the retirement of Maryanne Steele, assistant director of campus safety and fire prevention.
