
Employee Wellness Fair Set for April 11
The UMass Amherst Public Health Promotion Center will host its second annual Employee Wellness Fair on Thursday, April 11 from 11 a.m-5 p.m. in the Campus Center Auditorium. The Wellness Fair strives to educate and celebrate the ongoing efforts to promote integrated approaches to wellness in support of being a health-promoting university through the Okanagan Charter and the Okanagan Wellbeing Collective.
The day-long event for staff and faculty will feature screenings, activities, student engagement, giveaways, raffles and prizes, including day passes to RecWell and a chance to win a year membership.
All faculty and staff are invited to attend the Wellness Fair to receive services and information about:
- Blood pressure checks
- Hearing Health Screenings
- Nutrition
- Acupuncture
- Ergonomics
- Counseling
- Yoga and Mindfulness
- Cooking Demonstrations
- Planting Sessions
- Educational Programs

The Wellness Fair is hosted by the Public Health Promotion Center and supported by Auxiliary Services, Employee Counseling and Consultation Office, Environmental Health and Safety, University Health Services, RecWell, Elaine Marieb College of Nursing, School of Public Health and Health Sciences, Okanagan Wellbeing Collective and many additional campus partners.
