The Department of Kinesiology in the School of Public Health and Health Sciences and the Hampshire Regional YMCA in Northampton have partnered to offer a wellness-focused exercise program providing specialized support for individuals managing Parkinson’s disease.
The Parkinson’s Exercise Program focuses on improving mobility, balance and confidence through targeted exercises known to support daily function and quality of life. The program, which is free of charge and will be held in Totman Gymnasium, aims to foster community, resilience and improved health through movement. Certified instructors and kinesiology students will guide participants through gentle, adaptable movements designed to meet individual needs.
