Commonwealth Honors College and the Department of Residential Life Seeking Applicants for the Faculty in Residence

The Commonwealth Honors College and the Department of Residential Life are seeking applicants for the Faculty in Residence (FiR) position for the 2022-23 academic year. They are seeking candidates who have an interest in and ability to relate well with students and possess and abiding interest in their academic and personal learning. 

The Faculty in Residence position is open to UMass Amherst faculty holding appointments covering the period of the FiR appointment. 

To be eligible for appointment, nominees/applicants must have:

• Tenured full-time faculty status; or,
• Full-time lecturer status; or,
• Retired faculty status
