Call for Proposals and Campus Stories for the 2025 Digital Equity and Inclusion Week
UMass Amherst Information Technology (UMass IT) invites the campus community to submit session proposals, ideas and stories by Jan. 18 for the fourth annual Digital Equity and Inclusion Week (DEIW), to be held March 3-7.
DEIW 2025, themed “Beyond Compliance: Digital Accessibility for the Common Good,” is a weeklong series of virtual sessions, workshops and micro-learning opportunities focusing on digital accessibility issues. All DEIW 2025 events are free and open to the UMass Amherst campus community.
DEIW 2025 aims to raise campus awareness about ADA Title II digital accessibility regulatory changes and connect compliance efforts with UMass Amherst’s mission to improve access and inclusion for all, including persons with disabilities. New for this year, UMass IT is also seeking input from all members of the UMass Amherst community—faculty, staff and students—about their work in and engagement with digital accessibility. UMass Amherst community members’ work will be spotlighted in the DEIW website and communications.
Session and topic ideas, as well as campus accessibility stories, may be submitted via the online submission form.
For more information or to join the DEIW mailing list for updates, visit the DEIW 2025 website.
