Phone Scam Targeted at MA Group Insurance Commission Members

The Group Insurance Commission' (GIC) reports that GIC members have been receiving scam calls from individuals posing as GIC staff stating that GIC members will lose their benefits coverage if they do not provide them with personal information as soon as possible. 

If you receive a suspicious call from an unknown person at the following number: 866-896-0322, claiming to be from GIC and stating that you will lose your benefits coverage unless you provide them with personal information, please hang up. DO NOT provide personal or financial information to anyone you do not know.
