Program Requirements

  • 1 COMM honors course any level
  • 1 COMM honors course 300-level or higher, or 600-level with HPD approval
  • Honors Thesis or Project. Options include:
    • Individually contracted: COMM 499Y Honors Research and COMM 499T Honors Thesis or 499P Honors Project
    • Seminar: COMM 499C and COMM 499D when offered

Notes:

  • Additionally required: completion of the COMM requirements for the student's cadre (38 or 39 COMM credits). Read more.
  • When offered, 1cr COMM 291H, 391H and 491H seminars plus their pre-requisite non-honors root course are acceptable as DH electives.
