The annual Massachusetts Undergraduate Research Conference (MassURC) brings together undergraduate students from the 28 public colleges and universities within the commonwealth. The MassURC serves to broaden our understanding of research, showcasing investigations in over 60 subject areas, including biochemistry, history, architecture, marketing, fine art, and sociology. Going beyond observing, conference attendees have a chance to engage with the diverse and defining research that Massachusetts students are conducting with the support of faculty.

Important Dates for MassURC 2024

The conference organizers are excited to invite participants to present their research poster in-person at UMass Amherst. The conference will be celebrating it's 30th anniversary in 2024. More information to come!

Please note these key dates for MassURC 2024:

  • December 1: Participant registration opens
  • February 23: Abstract submissions are due
  • March 15: Abstract approval deadline
  • April 5: Conference registration deadline
  • April 19: Conference day, In-Person at UMass Amherst
