The annual Massachusetts Undergraduate Research Conference (MassURC) brings together undergraduate students from the 28 public colleges and universities within the commonwealth. The MassURC serves to broaden our understanding of research, showcasing investigations in over 60 subject areas, including biochemistry, history, architecture, marketing, fine art, and sociology. Going beyond observing, conference attendees have a chance to engage with the diverse and defining research that Massachusetts students are conducting with the support of faculty.
Reasons to Participate
You can submit an abstract for review if you're a current undergraduate student at any public Massachusetts state university or community college.
Here's why some students participate:

- Network with Peers: Connect with like-minded students from 28 participating universities
- Engage with Faculty: Interact with professors and fellow undergraduate researchers, for valuable guidance and insight on your research and ideas
- Develop Valuable Skills: Hone public speaking, networking, and communication skills, enhancing your academic and professional journey
