What is UMassGives?
UMassGives is a 2-day online giving campaign that harnesses the power of our vibrant community. This year marks the 12th UMassGives, and you can help us make it the best one yet. In 2024, UMassGives raised over $2.3 million from more than 10,000 people—the most ever!
How does UMassGives work?
Led by the UMass Amherst Foundation, the success of UMassGives is due in large part to the hundreds of grassroots fundraising efforts all over campus. Over two days, our vibrant community uses email, texts, and social media to encourage supporters to give to their favorite academic program, athletic team, research center, student organization, and more.
When is UMassGives?
UMassGives begins at 12:01 a.m. EDT on April 29 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on April 30.
How can I get involved?
If you are a student, faculty, staff, or alum who’s looking to help make this year’s UMassGives even more successful, there are many ways to get involved. In addition to supporting what inspires you at UMass Amherst, you can share the campaign with family and friends through word of mouth, email, or on social media using #UMassGives. You can also encourage your peers to take advantage of the many Power Hours and matching gifts available across all schools, colleges, and units.
