Program Requirements

  • 1 SPORTMGT or ISOM honors course any level
  • 1 SPORTMGT or ISOM honors course 300-level or higher
  • Honors Thesis Options:
    • Individually contracted: SPORTMGT 499Y Honors Research and SPORTMGT 499T Honors Thesis
    • Seminar: SPORTMGT 499D Sports Event Management (6-cr Thesis Seminar)
    • Seminar: SCH-MGMT 499C and SCH-MGMT 499D Business Strategy and Entrepreneurial Leadership

Notes:

  • When offered, Internship Project: SPORTMGT 499K and SPORTMGT 499P Internship and Honors Project (Note: 499K requires concurrent enrollment in SPORTMGT 498 for 9cr P/F) is an acceptable Honors Thesis option.  
  • SPORTMGT 498 internship might be less than 9 credits depending on extent of the internship commitment and will require approval from the Honors Program Director.
  • When offered, 1cr SPORTMGT 291H, 391H and 491H seminars plus their pre-requisite non-honors root course are acceptable as DH electives.
