Program Requirements
- KIN 297H (Note: students who previously completed KIN 170, 200, 297A or 270 with the affiliated 1cr honors colloquium may use that combination in lieu of KIN 297H.)
- 1 KIN honors course 300-level or higher
- Honors Thesis or Project. Options include:
- Individually contracted: KIN 499Y Honors Research and KIN 499T Honors Thesis or 499P Honors Project
Notes:
- KIN 297H, 3-credits, will introduce students to the research process to prepare them for conducting honors research in Kinesiology. Topics will include: steps to building research proposal (literature search, generating hypotheses, hypotheses testing, methods, results, discussion, and statistical analyses). Faculty will present research going on in labs to familiarize students with departmental research areas.
- When offered, 1cr KIN 291H, 391H and 491H seminars plus their pre-requisite non-honors root course are acceptable as DH electives.
