4+1 Accelerated Master’s degree in Engineering Management
Our 4+1 BS/MS Program
The 4+1 Accelerated MS in Engineering Management allows up to 12 credit hours taken as an undergraduate to count towards our 30-hour master's degrees. It is managed through the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
In this program, students can obtain a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management within a five-year time frame.
The 4+1 year BS/MS program is open to all undergraduate students at UMass Amherst who are enrolled as majors in mechanical, industrial engineering, as well as students in related fields, such as other engineering disciplines, physics, mathematics, kinesiology, etc.
