Our UMass Engineering student organizations, clubs, and societies reflect the diversity within our college and provide opportunities for hands-on projects, professional development, and community service. The Joint Engineering Student Societies (JSES) is comprised of the leadership of the ~25 student engineering organizations. Together these societies provide overall student leadership for the College, including:
- Represent undergraduate interests at the College level,
- Build interdepartmental connections for students across the college,
- Support a culture that is inclusive and welcoming to all students, and
- Excite the K12 community about opportunities in engineering, particularly at UMass.
