Our UMass Engineering student organizations, clubs, and societies reflect the diversity within our college and provide opportunities for hands-on projects, professional development, and community service. Participation is a great way connect with peers who share your interests, and also helps you stand out when it comes to the job search. Get involved!
The Joint Engineering Student Societies (JSES) is comprised of the leadership of the ~25 student engineering organizations. Together these societies provide overall student leadership for the College, including:
- Represent undergraduate interests at the College level,
- Build interdepartmental connections for students across the college,
- Support a culture that is inclusive and welcoming to all students, and
- Excite the K12 community about opportunities in engineering, particularly at UMass.
