The fields of public health and health sciences are constantly evolving as new research findings, technologies, and other advances emerge. That’s why many working professionals in these fields decide to continue their studies. Others decide the time is right to shift their focus and begin the work of changing careers.

Whatever your reasons, you’ll find a variety of fully online graduate degrees and certificates at the School of Public Health and Health Sciences. Courses are designed to be flexible, so you do not need to quit your current job or come to Amherst. The school also offers flexible learning for those who want to balance campus-based and online learning. Our programs include:

  • MPH in Public Health Practice
  • MPH in Nutrition
  • Global Health certificate
  • Population Health for Health Professionals certificate
  • Non-degree stand-alone classes to build skills
  • Post-baccalaureate programs in speech, language, and hearing.

We offer two application deadlines each year for the degree programs and rolling admissions for the certificates. The non-degree and post-baccalaureate programs require no application and can be done in spring, summer, winter, or fall.
