Online MPH in Global Health
Our World. Our Health.
"Our World. Our Health." is more than a tagline—it reflects the reality that health challenges and solutions are shared across borders.
With the online MPH in Global Health from UMass Amherst, you’ll gain 42 credits of practical, interdisciplinary training to help address global public health issues. You’ll join a diverse network of public health professionals working to improve health outcomes through collaboration, policy, and evidence-based practice.
The curriculum includes 12 credits of core public health classes, 15 credits of global health focused classes, and 9 credits of electives. All students are required to complete an international practicum course at either a self-arranged location or at one of our partner agencies.
Current cost per credit is $675.00. Total estimated cost of attendance based on 3 years of study is $29,622.00.
Students are accepted twice a year in the fall and in the spring. The program requires submission of both the SOPHAS application and a UMass supplemental application.
