This Affirmative Action Program (AAP) is designed to satisfy University of Massachusetts Amherst’s equal employment opportunity and affirmative action responsibilities under Executive Order 11246, as amended, and the implementing rules and regulations of the Secretory of Labor. Separate AAPs for protected veterans and individuals with disabilities have been adopted by University of Massachusetts Amherst.
University of Massachusetts Amherst has prepared this AAP to cover all applicants and employees. As described in detail in the program that follows, University of Massachusetts Amherst as a continuing commitment to the practice and implemented action of this AAP.
