Objective: Provide accessible and inclusive education and student support

- 4- and 6-year graduation rates, increase in first year student retention; student satisfaction with advising services; student satisfaction with career services
- Time to degree for master's students
- Time to degree for doctoral students
- Student perception of academic experience
- Job placement rates at the UG and graduate student level
Strategy 1: Ensure SPHHS policies and practices promote equitable access to success.
Action Steps:
- Annually review and update SPHHS policies related to student support and academic success
- Expand course accessibility through Mt. Ida and U+ classes
Strategy 2: Empower students to identify and achieve academic and career goals
Action Steps:
- Develop mission statement and student learning outcomes for advising
- Strengthen career development opportunities for students by leveraging alumni connections, integrating career planning into the curriculum
- Enhance supports for first-generation students and transfer students to ensure a successful academic journey
Strategy 3: Increase undergraduate enrollments
Action Steps:
- Expand outreach to K-12 schools in Western MA and Boston, including offering courses in Springfield
- Annually review and update MOUs with MA community colleges and curriculum mapping for transfer students
