The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) has announced the 37 members appointed to its 2025-27 Internal Advisory Board.

The Advisory Board provides valuable input on OFD’s priorities, as well as the programming and resources offered to help faculty members and librarians work, live and thrive at UMass Amherst.

The 2025-27 board members include representatives from each school, college and partner unit across campus, as well as all associate deans for research. Members serve a two-year term, during which they gather once a semester to reflect on current faculty professional development needs and envision how UMass Amherst can better support faculty members and librarians at our institution.

“We are excited to welcome OFD’s 2025-2027 advisory board and look forward to the positive impact their experiences and visions will have on our programming,” says Associate Provost for Faculty Development Angela de Oliveira. “Our previous board was instrumental in shaping our work from 2023 and onward. We’re eager for this board’s contributions to OFD’s strategic plan and to our campus community.”

More information about OFD’s programming and support for faculty and librarians can be found at https://www.umass.edu/faculty-development.
