Summer Pre-College Classes for High School Students

From exploring campus life to earning college credits, you’ll get the full college experience by taking UMass Amherst summer classes while you’re still in high school. 

Open to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, our Pre-College summer programs are taught on campus and online by dedicated UMass faculty and graduate students. They’re designed to engage you in hands-on projects and team-based learning, even in a remote setting. 

Admissions are rolling, which means you can apply anytime and secure your spot as soon as you're ready.

The Jump In program is a fully online, 6-week program designed to give you a head start on your academics and provide you with the foundations for a successful transition to college.
