Campus Community Invited to Open Forums for College of Nursing Dean Search
The co-chairs of the search committee for dean of the College of Nursing, Tricia Serio, dean of the College of Natural Sciences, and Tilman Wolf, senior vice provost and interim chair of biomedical engineering, have announced that finalists have been identified for the position.
They will be on campus beginning Tuesday, Dec. 3and the campus community is invited to attend the open forums with the candidates.
The forums will be held in Skinner Hall, room 012, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the following dates:
- Candidate A, Tuesday, Dec. 3
- Candidate B, Friday, Dec. 6
- Candidate C, Monday Dec. 9
- Candidate D, Thursday, Dec. 12
- Candidate E, Monday, Dec. 16
Stephen J. Cavanagh ended his tenure as dean of the College of Nursing in July, after being appointed dean of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis in Sacramento, California.
Currently, longtime faculty member Cynthia S. Jacelon is serving as interim dean.
