ABET Accreditation

The College of Engineering offers seven BS degree programs that are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET (www.abet.org).
Why Accreditation Matters
ABET is a nonprofit, ISO 9001 certified organization that accredits college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology.
ABET accreditation assures that a college or university program meets defined global standards of quality according to their discipline. Once achieved, accreditation is renewed periodically.
Professional licensure, registration and certification for engineers typically requires graduation from an ABET-accredited program as a minimum qualification.
