Microwave Remote Sensing Laboratory : College of Engineering : UMass Amherst

The Microwave Remote Sensing Laboratory (MIRSL) was founded in 1981 by Professors Robert E. McIntosh and Calvin T. Swift. The laboratory occupies more than 9,000 square feet for the development of advanced microwave and millimeter-wave radars, radiometers, and systems for the reduction of data gathered by these sensors.
