BME Accelerated MS Transfer Classes Guide

Students in the 4+1 Accelerated Masters Degree program may transfer up to 12 credits of undergraduate coursework to the MS program. 

  • 6 credits of coursework can double-count for the BS and MS degrees.   
    • Must be 500-level or above coursework in BME or one of the approved non-major classes
    • Must receive a B or higher for transfer credit
  • 6 additional credits of coursework can be taken during undergraduate to transfer into the MS degree
    • Transfer-only classes cannot be used to fulfill any undergraduate degree requirements
    • Must be 500-level or above coursework in BME or one of the approved non-major classes
    • Must receive a B or higher for transfer credit

Students may wish to make an appointment with the Academic Program Manager during their junior or senior year to discuss transfer class options.
