Spring Career Fairs for Engineering Majors
Content

The College of Engineering and the University will be hosting several exciting career fairs this semester. In addition to directly helping students obtain jobs and internships, these events offer a unique opportunity to practice interacting with potential employers and develop an understanding of the employment landscape for engineering students.
Students looking for help preparing for career fairs are encouraged to consult the Engineering Career Development and Experiential Learning Center, which offers a wide array of services that help students achieve professional success, including one-on-one counseling, mock interviews, and workshops.
Hosted by the College of Engineering, the two-day Engineering Career Fair will be held on Wednesday, February 26 and Thursday, February 27, from 12pm-4pm in the Campus Center Auditorium. Over 60 companies will be present each day, looking for summer interns in addition to co-op and full-time job candidates. All engineering majors, in all years, are invited to attend. In addition, the Sustainability & Clean Energy Career Fair will be hosted the next day—Friday, February 28—in the Campus Center Auditorium from 11am-2pm. This event is presented by the Career and Professional Development Center in the College of Natural Sciences, in partnership with the School of Earth and Sustainability and the College of Engineering Career Development and Experiential Learning Center.
Finally, on Friday, March 7, from 10am-2pm in the Olver Design Building, engineering students are invited to attend the Building and Construction Technology Career Fair, which will feature employers in the fields of construction, project management, green building, materials, and building systems.
