About

Research Interests
My broader research interests are in applied operations research, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, manufacturing systems, and decision-making under uncertainty. I am especially interested in problems where security, resilience, efficiency, and safety interact, and in developing quantitative methods that can be implemented in real operational environments. Methodologically, my interests include optimization, reinforcement learning, statistical learning, design of experiments, simulation, stochastic modeling, and decision analysis. Application areas include cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, robotics, supply chains, communications, and behavior change.

Current Research
My current research develops analytics and decision-support methods to improve the security, resilience, and efficiency of complex systems. Current projects include cybersecurity vulnerability management and defense, manufacturing and robotic inspection, resilient supply chains, and the use of artificial intelligence and operations research to support better decisions under uncertainty. A particular focus is on combining optimization, machine learning, statistical modeling, and experimental methods to address applied problems with measurable real-world consequences. Recent work includes cybersecurity defense and inspection strategies, AI-enabled manufacturingand robotics, supply-chain disruption planning, and methods for evaluating and improving the reliability and safety of AI-enabled systems.
