Dr. Sang's research focuses on power system operations and planning, including the analysis of power system economics, reliability, and resilience. Her ongoing research efforts include grid enhancing technologies, integration of renewable energy and electric vehicles in electricity markets, distributed optimization for power system operations, enhancing power system resilience against natural disasters, environmental impact of power systems, and energy equity.
